CHICKENS

I once knew a chicken named Fred
Who wanted to stand on his head
He tried and he tried,
In frustration he cried,
"I think I'll just go back to bed"
LIVING ON THE FARM
In the black of night
In the glow of day,
The roosters crowed,
Wish they'd go away!
"Cock-a doodle doo!
Cock a doodle day!
They just drive me crazy,
Wish they'd just go away!"
Well, I made some dumplings
And some noodles too.
And I put that rooster
In some chicken strew.
But the rooster still won,
So my friends all say.
Now I sit and doodle
My whole life away!
