Bearly pawsing

Pause
I can barely make it
Reaching,
Stretching,
 On my toes
Arms held high
Fingers wide
It was almost in my grasp
One final effort
It was mine
Dinner
The honey pot
Happily
We loped on home
Satisfaction
For a job well done.

This is a great quilt. Who does it go to, or rather, to whom does it go? I like the poem too.
ps. You should be here to help me with my quilt I started at age 16. I am now finishing the last piecing of the squares but find I need to re-do some that aren't fitting in squarely. Hmmm.
