August, a month filled with meteor showers
Grasshoppers jumping around in the flowers
Birds winging west in anticipation
Of autumn vacations in off the wall stations.
August a month filled with sunshine and heat
When rubber heeled shoes all stick to the streets.
Lets go to the beach, swim in water so green
Enjoying the summer with hats and sun screen
